訳注　TRANSLATORS NOTES

<1> Frisk is a type of breath freshening mint. I assume the image in this verse is a kind of love that stenches of alcohol, but because it won't sober up, you have to take a Frisk in order to at least hide it from everyone.
<2> Strong zero is an alcoholic beverage (9%). This line may also be a subtle callback to Midnight Seijun Isei Kouyuu's 「ストロー噛んでバスストップから睨んだ」（Biting a straw, you glared at me from the bus stop）.

Tsunku was commissioned to write the melody for this song, and Seiko wrote the lyrics. She wanted to use words that Tsunku would never use in his lyrics, yet still convey the kind of feelings Tsunku would write about in his songs. She also requested for the song to have a ~Golden vibe~, to resemble Morning Musume's golden era.
