Fujitsu General Exhibition Report - MCE 2024
Fujitsu General (Italia) S.p.A (hereafter, FGIT), responsible for Fujitsu General Sales in Italy, joined the international trade show MCE 2024 (March 12 to 15). Here is our report!
About the MCE Exhibition 🚩
MCE (Mostra Convegno Expocomfort) is one of the world's leading trade shows. It is held every two years in March in Italy. The 2024 MCE took place in Milan.
This large-scale event features companies from all sectors of the HVAC industry as well as renewable energy. This year, it attracted over 120,000 visitors.
In the Italian market, we sell our air conditioner brand, GENERAL, primarily focusing on increasing sales to air conditioner specialists. Our booth was decorated in red and white.
In the booth, we displayed a comprehensive product lineup, including residential wall-mounted air conditioners, commercial VRF systems, and even large-scale air conditioning equipment known as chillers.
We showcased these products to the many customers who visited our booth.
Out of the new GENERAL brand models to be launched in 2024, I would like to introduce some unique ones that feature sales company that is specialized in air conditioner products🌎
Air conditioner that boils water? air to water monobloc🔥
One of the most popular products showcased was the "AIR TO WATER Monobloc".
Converting air to hot water; AIR TO WATER
This product looks like the outdoor unit of a residential air conditioner. However, this appliance can supply hot water in addition to heating a room.
It sends warm water created during heating operation using heat pump technology to floor heating units or tanks to provide hot water as well as warming up the room💡
Our product on display is capable of supplying hot water up to 60°C*!
This system is called air to water (ATW) as it heats water using the heat exchange with air.
*When the outside temperature is -5°C or higher.
What is Monobloc?
Heat pump equipment has two types; the "split type", which has separate indoor and outdoor units, and the "Monobloc," in which refrigeration cycle is completed in a single unit. The one shown in the photo is the Monobloc type 🧊
Monobloc is often applied to detached houses and apartment complexes. While it needs to be installed near the water supply tank or floor heating unit, this product does not require piping work for refrigerant to connect the indoor unit and outdoor unit.
This product is advantageous in terms of installation and workability.
As European market is actively aiming for a decarbonized society, the installation of gas boilers that use fossil fuels is restricted, and demand for AIR TO WATER products that can provide heating and hot water without burning gas has increased significantly.
Our product, which contributes to both global environmental measures and ease of installation, is expected to grow further in the European market, especially in Italy!
Product portfolio expansion as a "comprehensive air-conditioning company💪
Demand for residential air conditioning units dominates the Italian market. However, we are expanding our lineup to meet the need for air conditioning for entire buildings and facilities. Fujitsu General specializes in air conditioning and aims to further penetrate the Italian market as a comprehensive air conditioning manufacturer that meets various market needs.
At this trade show, we displayed air-conditioning units such as ventilation device and the pouct called “Chiller unit” as well.
Ventilation device to keep the indoor air clean🍃
Along with temperature control, we are also focusing on improving air quality. We showcased ventilation devices that can bring in fresh air from outside while minimizing temperature changes.
The ventilation unit on display is designed to exchange indoor air with fresh air from outdoors!
The device can adjust the temperature and humidity when taking in outdoor air and maintain indoor temperature and humidity without major fluctuations. As this produce is capable of providing clean air and a comfortable indoor environment all year around, FGIT will put further focus on promoting it.
Water-based air conditioning, Chiller unit 🌀
While ordinary air conditioners use air to regulate indoor temperature, chiller units do so by circulating cold water.
Chillers is one of the attracting categories in the Italian market because it uses water without substantially harming the environment, which matches the European market's efforts to promote environmental protection.
Summary
Through the product exhibition, Fujitsu General, which specializes in the air conditioning business, was able to deliver its enthusiasm to further penetrate the market as a "comprehensive air conditioning manufacturer" and meets all needs in the Italian market in the future👏
Many visitors stopped by at the GENERAL brand booth, providing a valuable opportunity to build relationships and conduct business discussions.
