大まかに分けて2つの意味で使われます。

「参加します」の意味で使う

参加します。

グループメッセージでランチのお誘いが来ました。
I have booked a restaurant. Please let me know if you can make it!
「レストランを予約しました。来られるかどうか教えてください。」

•  I’ll be there.
  「参加します」

• She won't be there, but I’ll be there for sure!
  彼女は参加しないが、私は必ず参加するよ！

ありがとうエスティ、参加します。

「待ち合わせ」の時に使う

そこに行きます。

というニュアンスで、待ち合わせや人と会う約束をするシチュエーションでよく使います。

友達から明日のパーティ来る？ とのお誘い。
Are you coming to the party tomorrow?

• Sure, I’ll be there around 6 pm!
  もちろん、6時くらいに行くよ！

We have an online meeting at 3 pm. Will you be there?
（今日の3時にオンライン会議があります。参加しますか？）

• Yes, I’ll be there on time.
  はい、時間通りに参加します。
