1. chicken
a person who is not brave or is afraid to do something
〈話〉弱虫、臆病者
D: I still haven’t told the boys Kimmy and Ramona are moving in today.
S: Chicken.
D: Okay, I'm a little chicken.
S: No, I'm talking about the fried chiken.
DJは状況から自分が臆病者と言われると認識しましたが、Stephanieは単純に目の前のチキンのことが気になっているようですね。cowardのように同じような意味を持つ単語は他にも沢山あります。
2. spill the beans
(informal) to tell something that someone else wanted you to keep a secret
〔うっかり〕秘密を漏らす
D: So don't say a word until I find the right moment to break the news.
S: Sorry, I spilled the beans.
D: You told them?
S: No, I spilled the beans when I was reaching for the chicken.
ここでもDJはイディオムで捉えていましたが、Stephanieはそのままの意味で発話していました。ちなみにspill the teaは「噂話をする」という意味がありますね。
3. outnumber
to be more in number than another group
～に数で勝る、～の数を上回る、～より数が多い
I used to live in a house full of guys. Now, there's women everywhere. I'm outnumbered.
ここでは受動態になっているため「劣勢である」のような意味になることに注意しましょう。
下記のように数で比較するときに使いやすいですね。
Men greatly outnumber women in US corporate leadership.
4. as quiet as a mouse
very quiet or silent
非常に物静かで、黙りこくって
You know, he has been quiet as a mouse.
日本語では「借りてきた猫」で表現しますね。
5. first things first
used to say that something should be done or dealt with first because it is the most important
まずは第一に

指を人に指すことは日本だけではなく多くの国で攻撃的な意味があると捉えられていますね。
