カメラの周辺機器は省略します。最低限の装備で軽いものしか持って行かないのが私のモットーなので、基本的にはこれで日本各地のサウナ施設に行ってます。

サウナ施設の紹介

今回行ったサウナ施設は「しお活　バレルサウナ」。

山口県光市室積にあるサウナ施設です。施設内にバレルサウナが5棟あり、水風呂も5個あるので、大人数でもある程度のプライベートは守られています。

水風呂は湧海水を使用しています。海水だから身体中が塩だらけになるのかなと思いきやそんなこともなく。どういう仕組みなんだろうか。

リクライニングチェアは椅子の足が丸型でゆらゆらと動く感じ。動画の最後に椅子を座ったシーンを取り入れたのは座った後の快適さを味わって欲しかったからです。うまく伝わりましたかね。

サウナ八十八ケ所巡りとは

サウナブームが落ち着き、客足が減っていく中現役のアウトドアサウナスタッフである尾藤が今度はアウトドアサウナを盛り上げようと日本中のアウトドアサウナを中心に魅力を紹介しようという一連企画。

八十八ケ所はお遍路で有名な四国八十八ケ所霊場から来ています。煩悩は８８あるとされ、四国の霊場を八十八ケ所巡ると煩悩が消えるといわれています。

サウナも整うと煩悩が消える点では同じではないかと思い、昨年10月から私一人でこの企画を立ち上げました。

なぜサウナ八十八所をやろうと思ったのかはまた後日記事にします。

We used the following equipment for this project!

FX30 (camera)

Camera peripherals will be omitted. My motto is to take only the lightest equipment with the least amount of weight, so this is basically how I go to sauna facilities around Japan.

Introduction of Sauna Facilities

The sauna facility I visited this time was Shioatsu Barrel Sauna.

This sauna facility is located in Murozumi, Hikari City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. There are five barrel saunas and five water baths in the facility, so even a large group of people can have some privacy.

The water baths use spring seawater. Because it is seawater, I wondered if my body would be covered in salt, but that is not the case. I wonder how it works.

The reclining chairs have round legs and seem to wobble. I incorporated a scene of sitting on the chair at the end of the video because I wanted the viewer to experience the comfort of the chair after sitting on it. I hope I conveyed that well.

What is the 88 sauna tours?

As the sauna boom has slowed down and the number of visitors has been decreasing, Mr. Odo, an active outdoor sauna staff member, decided to introduce a series of outdoor saunas around Japan in order to liven up the outdoor saunas and introduce their attractions.

The name "88 places" comes from the 88 sacred places in Shikoku, which are famous for the pilgrimage. It is said that there are 88 vexations, and if you visit 88 sacred places in Shikoku, your vexations will disappear.

I started this project in October of last year on my own, thinking that the same is true for saunas, where one's troubles disappear when one becomes well-adjusted.

I will write more about the reason why I decided to start the Sauna 88 Places project at a later date.
