The correct answer is to gently place your fingers on the back of the toothbrush where the bristles are located, without scrubbing, and gently poke the toothbrush in without shaking it from side to side.
Do this to every nook and cranny of the front and back of the tooth.
When doing this, please be careful not to thrust the toothbrush in too forcefully and damage your gums.
