序章: 問いの発端
図書館での偶然：
大学の広々とした図書館。柔らかな光が差し込む窓際の一角に、スポーツ関連の書籍コーナーがある。
美咲は講義の後、ノートとタブレットを抱えながら図書館に足を運ぶ。
美咲（心の声）: 「また山田さんに却下されるのかな…。新しい戦略を提案したいけど、データが弱いって教授にも言われたし…。」
彼女はノートを開き、野球チームの動きや心理状態についての考察が書き込まれたページを見つめる。書いてあるのはいつものコーチング理論だが、どうしても「革新的」とは言えない。
美咲（独り言）: 「これじゃだめだ。普通のやり方じゃ、チームを説得する材料にはならない…。」
「何か新しいヒントを探さなくちゃ。」そう呟きながら、美咲は自然と歴史や文化の棚に足を運ぶ。
ふとしたきっかけ:
本棚を指先でなぞりながら、美咲は「スポーツ」や「戦略」のようなキーワードが目に入るタイトルを探していた。その時、「正統竹内文書」というタイトルが目に飛び込んできた。古びた背表紙と、何ともいえない重厚感に思わず手が止まる。
美咲（心の声）: 「…竹内文書？聞いたことないけど、これ、戦略とか書いてあるのかな。」
彼女は本を引き出し、ページを開く。手書き風の地図や奇妙な図形が並び、「宇宙」「竹」「八咫烏」といった謎めいた言葉が目に飛び込んでくる。
美咲（独り言）: 「え、これ…歴史書？それともフィクション？『宇宙は竹の筒』って何のこと？」
一瞬、読むべき本ではないと感じて戻しかける。しかしページをめくると、「三角測量による戦略配置」という見出しに目が留まった。
ページには、古代日本の遺跡や地形を三角形に結ぶ線が引かれ、その理論が戦略的配置にどう活用されたかが書かれていた。
美咲（心の声）: 「…これって、もしかして選手の配置にも応用できるかも？」
彼女は心臓が高鳴るのを感じながら、さらに読み進める。
美咲（独り言）: 「例えば、守備位置や攻撃のタイミングをこういう風に最適化できたら…いや、あり得ない。でも、もしかしたら…！」
美咲は気づけば椅子に座り、本を膝の上で開いていた。ノートとペンを取り出し、「三角測量」や「八咫烏」という言葉を書き写す。
美咲（心の声）: 「これ、ただの古代の話じゃない。もし現代に活かせたら、チームの動きが変わるかもしれない。」
彼女の顔には新たな発見をした時の興奮が浮かんでいる。普段の授業や研究では得られない感覚だ。
彼女は立ち上がり、本を手に貸出カウンターに向かう。その目には、自分でも気づいていない光が宿っていた。
美咲（心の声）: 「山田さんも教授も何と言うかわからないけど、これ、試してみる価値がある。絶対に。」

A Chance Encounter in the Library
In the university's expansive library, sunlight streams through the windows onto a section filled with sports-related books.
Misaki, holding her notebook and tablet, visits the library after class.
Misaki (internal monologue): “Will Yamada reject my ideas again? I want to propose a new strategy, but both he and the professor said my data wasn’t strong enough...”
She sits down, flipping through her notebook filled with observations on her baseball team’s movements and psychology. However, her notes don’t feel groundbreaking.
Misaki (to herself): “This won’t cut it. I need something new to convince the team...”
As she wanders through the history and culture section, something catches her eye. A title, “The Taketori Monjo,” jumps out from the shelves. Its aged spine and mysterious aura stop her in her tracks.
Misaki (internal monologue): “What’s this? Never heard of it before... Could it have anything about strategy?”
Curious, she pulls out the book and flips through its pages, finding hand-drawn maps and peculiar diagrams. Words like “universe,” “bamboo,” and “Yatagarasu” leap off the pages.
Misaki (to herself): “What... is this? Is it history? Fiction? What’s this ‘universe is a bamboo tube’ supposed to mean?”
She nearly puts the book back but stops at a section titled “Strategic Placement via Triangulation.” The diagrams depict how ancient Japanese landmarks were aligned into triangles, theorizing their use in strategic arrangements.
Misaki (internal monologue): “Wait... could this be applied to player positioning?”
Her heart races as she reads further.
Misaki (to herself): “Optimizing defensive positions or attack timings with this? No way... but maybe... just maybe!”
Misaki sits down, engrossed in the book, jotting down key concepts like “triangulation” and “Yatagarasu.”
Misaki (internal monologue): “This isn’t just ancient history. If I can adapt this to modern sports, it could transform how we play.”
With newfound excitement, she heads to the checkout counter with the book in hand.
Misaki (internal monologue): “Professor Tanaka and Yamada might doubt me, but this is worth trying. I won’t give up.”
