Okinawa Karate Museum
The former museum was opened in 1987 by Chairman Tetsuhiro Hokama and is located on the second floor of the Okinawa Goju-ryu Kenshikai Main Dojo.

Many materials, photos, and weapons are on display, and many karate-related people from Japan and abroad visit the museum.

Location: 2-17-6 Uehara, Nishihara-cho, Nakagami-gun, Okinawa

Important Note , please be sure to call and reserve the day and time of your visit, please.
The museum is closed when President Hokama is out of the building.
Please call to reserve a day and time for your visit, as Mr. Hokama is often out of town for teaching and lecturing.

Take the monorail from Naha Airport or from your hotel in Naha,get off at Tedakouranishi Station, the last stop on the Yui Rail, and take a taxi.
