親愛なる君へ

韓国教会から始まる日曜日

今日は、Papaが君を連れて、Mamaがお世話になっていた韓国教会に行ったよ。君の湿疹は少しおさまってきたね。でも、完治にはまだ時間がかかりそう。Papaはこれからも慎重にケアしていきたいと思っているよ。

韓国教会には、薬剤師の資格を持つBさんがいてね。PapaはBさんに君のケアについて色々と相談してみたんだ。それから、Bさんの家族に新しい命が誕生したと聞いて、PapaとMamaでささやかなプレゼントを渡したよ。子どもへの愛情が深いBさんに、Papaは親近感を覚えたよ。いつか君とBさんの息子さんが一緒に遊べたらいいなと思うんだ。

夕方は、Mamaが友達グループで購入してくれたPapaの仕事部屋用のライトやお風呂用のスピーカーを受け取りに行ったんだ。君が昼寝している間に、Mamaが動いてくれたんだよ。

Mamaはいつも工夫してくれて、本当に助かるよ。譲り受けたり、お得に購入したりして、家計にも優しいよね。

君は最近、本当にしっかりしてきたね。泣き声やうめき声を聞いていると、今にも話し始めそうだなと感じるよ。もしかしたらハイハイが先かもしれないけど、どちらにしても、成長の瞬間を見届けるのが楽しみで仕方ないんだ。

A Sunday Starting at the Korean Church

Today, Papa took you to the Korean church where Mama used to spend time. Papa noticed that your rash is starting to calm down, but it seems like it will still take some time to fully heal. Papa wants to continue taking care of you carefully and patiently.

At the Korean church, Papa spoke with B-san, who is a pharmacist. Papa asked B-san for advice on how to care for you. Papa also heard that B-san’s family recently welcomed a new baby. To celebrate, Papa and Mama gave them a small gift. B-san has such a deep love for children, and Papa felt a strong sense of connection with them. Papa hopes that someday you can play with B-san’s son.

In the evening, while you were napping, Mama went out to pick up a desk light for Papa’s workroom and a speaker for the bath. Mama had bought them through her friend group.

Papa feels so grateful for Mama. She is always finding creative ways to get useful items—sometimes by trading or buying them at great prices. Papa really appreciates her efforts because it helps us financially as a family.

Papa can see how much you’ve grown lately. When Papa hears your cries or little sounds, it feels like you’re just about ready to start talking.

Maybe crawling will come first, but either way, Papa can’t wait to witness every moment of your growth. It’s such an exciting journey, and Papa is looking forward to seeing what comes next.
