親愛なる息子へ

今日も、君とMamaと思いっきり家族時間を楽しんだね。

朝は北浜にある教会へ行き、お昼はスシローへ。（2日連続 笑）
君もベビーチェアに座れるようになったし、意志をはっきり示すようになったね。Mamaは、君が何をしたいのか、何を望んでいるのかを、Papaよりもずっとうまくキャッチしていて、ちょっとジェラシー。笑

Papaも限られた時間の中で、家にいる時は君との時間、Mamaとの時間、3人の時間を大切にしたいと思っているんだ。

そうそう、今日はね、君とMamaがお昼寝をしている間に、Papaは集中して家事をしたんだよ。（Mamaを驚かせたくて！）笑
ベランダにたくさんあった鳥のフンを掃除したり、窓に防寒用のシートを貼ったり、ワインラックを組み立てたりね。

たった2時間だったけど、本当に捗った。
君も、綺麗な部屋の方が気持ちいいだろうし、Papaもアレルギー体質だから、君にはならないようにしてあげたいしね。

何気ない日常の出来事も、君がいるだけで本当に素敵に輝いて見える。Mamaと君の成長について話すこと、君の未来について話す時間が、本当に楽しくて、充実しているよ。

Dear Son

Today was another wonderful day spent with you and Mama, making the most of our family time together.

In the morning, Papa took you and Mama to a church in Kitahama, and for lunch, we went to Sushiro—two days in a row! (Haha!) You can now sit in a baby chair, and you are starting to express your wants and needs more clearly. Mama is much better than Papa at understanding what you want and what you’re trying to say, and honestly, Papa feels a little jealous. Haha.

Even though Papa’s time at home is limited, every moment spent with you and Mama is precious. Whether it’s just you and Papa, Mama and Papa, or all three of us together, Papa wants to cherish every second.

Oh, and today, while you and Mama were taking a nap, Papa decided to surprise Mama by getting a lot of housework done! Haha. Papa cleaned the balcony, which had a lot of bird droppings, put up insulation sheets on the windows, and even assembled a wine rack.

Even though it was only about two hours, Papa got so much done! A clean home is always nice, and Papa thinks you’ll be more comfortable in a fresh, tidy space. Plus, since Papa has allergies, Papa hopes you won’t develop them, too.

Everyday moments feel so much more special with you around. Talking with Mama about how much you’re growing and imagining the future together is truly a joy.
