Erhu lesson/二胡レッスン June 16, 2024
Thank you for coming to my note.
I had my erhu lesson today, individual and group lessons. Our recital coming up is in late July. It's only a month away. Or could I say that I still have a month.
My teacher also reminded us in the group lesson that our performance time is only 3 minutes. It's the time of the song we play. Including the time of going in and out of the stage, it may be 5 minutes in total. I will play with 3 other students together. We have been practicing our best as possible.
The members gathered in some fate and I appreciate the wonderful connection with them. The rehearsal will be on next weekend. We'll do our best to play erhu and enjoy the event.
今日は、二胡のレッスンでした。
個人レッスンもありましたが、グループレッスンの時の先生の一言が印象に残りました。
本番の時間は3分よ。
3分頑張ったら良いのよ。
そう、4人で演奏する曲の時間が3分。
たった3分のために、私達、皆でそれぞれどれだけ練習してきたんだろう。ステージの出入りも含めたら本番は、5分くらいかもしれない。緊張するだろうけど、舞台に立つとき、一人じゃない。
4人で、その時にしか出せない音がある。二胡が好きで、集った仲間。皆それぞれ、色んなことがある中、毎月レッスンに通っています。出会えたご縁に感謝しています。
来週は、いよいよリハーサル。
限られた練習時間だけど、皆で楽しく、本番を迎えたいと思います。
