2024年3月31日。アメリカ、アリゾナ州にあるグランドキャニオン国立公園に到着。この日の気温は最高でも13℃、若干肌寒く、天候は晴れてはいましたがその絶景をより雄大に引き立てているように雲のが一面に広がっていました。
March 31, 2024. We arrived at Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona, USA. The temperature was a bit chilly, 13 degrees Celsius at the highest, and although the weather was clear, there were clouds all around, which enhanced the spectacular view.
想像をはるかに超えたスケールに思わず息をのんでしまいます。浸食作用による風景として有名なトルコのカッパドキアとは全く違った規模の風景がここにありました。
The scale of the landscape, which far exceeded my imagination, took my breath away. Here was a landscape of a completely different scale from that of Cappadocia in Turkey, which is famous for its erosion-induced landscape.
