「 世界が君を失望させればさせるほど、その世界は君を必要としているのだ」

クリス：僕が学んだことで、作品の中に取り入れようと努力している最大の教訓は、「 世界が君を失望させればさせるほど、その世界は君を必要としているのだ」ということです。
絶えずそうなのですが、この世界を見回すと、思うのです。
「 なんてこった、どうやってここになじめと？」とか、
「 こんな世界で、僕みたいな奴は、どうやったら成功できる？」と。
ときに宇宙には、自分では想像できないような壮大なプランが用意されていたりすることを、どんなときも忘れないことだと思います。

The biggest lesson that I’ve learned and that I try to incorporate into my writing is that the more the world discourages you, the more it needs you.
I do this constantly, I look around at this world and I think “Gosh, how do I fit in?’” and “How can someone like me succeed in a world like this?”
I think it’s important to always remember that sometimes the universe has bigger plans for you than you could imagine for yourself.
