CRAZYTANK News vol.221/Generating Organizations for the Rise of AI 【agrarian organization created in the “ONE PIECE” manga style】

CRAZYTANK News started in July 2020 and has been a weekly newsletter of about 2,000 to 3,000 words, providing information on "CRAZYTANK's current situation“. The past week has been very cold and very warm.... Many of you may not be in good physical condition. In addition, the weather has been unusually warm for October, and we think everyone is forced to take climate change as their own personal matter.

With the evolution of generative AI, it is now possible to predict a future in which “individuals + AI” may outperform large corporations. While individualism is expected to advance, CRAZYTANK believes that the evolution of generative AI will require “the power of human-created organizations,” rather than individualism. We have written specifically about what we at CRAZYTANK think the organization of the future should look like.

At CRAZYTANK, our CEO, Mr. Takehana, has been researching generative AI for more than 18 years.

Since that time, we have predicted the “state in which a field melts” and “a state in which a single individual has more power than a large corporation” along with the evolution of generative AI, and we have been creating jobs and organizations to achieve these goals.

With the development of generative AI, if we can master them, what used to be done by a large number of people can now be done by just one person, or what used to require artisanal knowledge and skills can now be done in a short period of time (instantaneously). We are sure that some of you are feeling that the situation is getting to the point where it is impossible to say, “Such a future is impossible”!

However, does that mean that only individuals who are more proficient in using generative AI will survive in the future? CRAZYTANK's answer to this question is not necessarily yes.

There is no denying the possibility that such “individuals” will rise to prominence and become powerful along with the evolution of generative AI, and that the value of companies and organizations up to now will be drastically overturned. There is no doubt that generative AI is such a revolutionary tool that it will drastically change the conventional wisdom of society.

However, CRAZYTANK believes that we still don't know if we “humans” will really choose that future.

In fact, our CEO, Takehana, became independent about 14 years ago and has been involved in numerous jobs in many fields while researching the evolution of generative AI. In the era of the rise of generative AI, we have been working on personal branding, believing that it is necessary to become an individual who is chosen by people who say, “I still want to work with you (beyond convenience and rationality)“.

Takehana defined itself this way in 2019. Since then, we have been working on building that organization in an ongoing process.

An agrarian organization that uses the ONE PIECE method of selection, exactly like the manga ONE PIECE, selects its associates with pinpoint accuracy, saying, “I want you, not anyone else, on my ship. As in the general recruitment process, work experience and qualifications are not the key advantages for selection, so we cannot recruit and gather people by recruiting them.

Furthermore, we believe that an “agrarian organization” is like a village organization of the past, where some people grow crops, some people set the rules of the village, some people have fun in the village, and all the people with different roles share the harvest of the year.

The reason why we believe it is necessary to create such an organization of “agrarian organizations that choose in one-piece method” is because we believe that the following organizations will be the “value of choice” for humans in the final period in a future where generative AI is on the rise.

・An organization that can make people think, “Even in a future with the rise of generative AI, I want to work for you”.
・An organization that can think of each other, “We want to move beyond the convenience and rationality of generative AI for the sake of our colleagues”.

We foresee a future in which AI will replace all the jobs that humans have done in the past, and in that future, humans will certainly be concerned about their own existence value. Many people will face the questions of what they can do and what they exist for.

At that time, we will face once again the “richness of life” and the “meaning and joy of work” as human beings.

And we predict that it will become more difficult to achieve this on an individual basis.

That is why we believe that there will come a point when relationships and organizations that can move beyond logic and work for each other, saying “I will do my best for you,” or “If you say so, I will do so.

An “agrarian organization that chooses in ONE PIECE” cannot be created without transcending the capitalistic relationships that have been in place up to now. We realize that it is not an organization that can be created in a pretty way. However, we will continue to work on it with the hope that it will certainly have value for the future to come.
