英語教育・英語学習に関する独り言32　ー　模擬TOEFL問題作成について⑧

悪魔のささやきで Revoicer の一番安いプランを67ドルで購入。使いやすいのは使いやすい。最安プランだと使用できる音声がかなり限定されるが、しゃーない。

そして音声の質はというと、ぶっちゃけ ElevenLabs の方が良いような気がする。もちろん Revoicer も音声の速度や感情設定ができるが、なんかちょっと違うなという感じ。これは個人の感想、特に模擬 TOEFL iBT の音声を個人で作ろうというちょっと変わった人間の感想なので、あまり当てにはしないでほしい。英検や TOEIC L&R の模擬音声を作るのなら全く問題ないと思われる。

で、こちらが実際に作ってみた音声を動画にしたもの。画像を白黒にするのを忘れたのはご愛嬌ということで。

スクリプトはこちらの記事を参照のこと。ただ、Revoicer にはすべてこの通り入力したわけではない。たとえば Revoicer の音声キャラの Zoey は fungi をファンジャイと発音するタイプ。別にそれでもいいのだが、ＣＪはファンガイ派なので、fungi を funguy に書き換えて入力した。他にも、そうしたちょっとした工夫を施している。
