ラジオビジネス英語　Lesson(4)

出だしが遅れてしまいましたが、仕事で英語が必要になりそうなのでラジオ英会話をはじめてみました。

聞き取り（ディクテーション）にチャレンジしてみようと思います。

もしかしたら誰かの役に立つかなと思い、noteでも公開してみることにしました。

シルヴィア：So the first topic, the recent US housing market. Michel, Cloud you give us some overall view?

マイケル：Sure, Can you see my sprint share ?

タカシ：No, I can’t. I’ll enable to screen share now.

マイケル：Thanks, Takashi. OK, So the pandemic has taken a toll US economy, but this graph shows XXX house price not really seen any significant decline for the last two years. For the short term, demand continues to look stable.

シルヴィア：So the market has held up well. Any questions or comments, Takashi?

タカシ：What do you think is the reason behind this market stability?

マイケル：I think it is mainly driven by record low interest rates but with teleworking is the new trend, demand for larger home is on the rise.

significant：重大な、大きな

stable：安定した

hold up：持ちこたえる、維持する

reason behind：〜の背後にある理由

be driven by：〜によって牽引される　drive:何かの力を使って動かす

record low：記録的に低い

interest rate：金利

be on the rise：上昇中である
