I'm reading a book titled "Effortless." I was shocked by some of the sentences in it. One key idea mentioned is that to invert means to turn an assumption or approach upside down, to work backward, and to ask, "What if the opposite were true?" This method of inversion can help you uncover insights you may have missed by viewing a problem from only one perspective. It highlights errors in our thinking and opens our minds to new ways of doing things.
Wow! "What if the opposite were true?" What a powerful question!
