Grandma E の英語日記

I participated in ABCDE work, created by American psychologist Ellis. It's known as Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy. The process involves: A (Activating Event), B (Beliefs), C (Consequence), D (Disputation), and E (Exchange old thoughts for new effective ones). After trying this work, the results were amazing! I believe we have a choice in how we make ourselves feel, whether self-helpingly or self-defeatingly. By adopting a more rational and self-constructive philosophy, people are more likely to behave in life-serving and adaptive ways. I really like this concept.
