下記は主に、2022(令和4)年度の入試問題を参考にした類題です。
Question 1 だけ少し解説を加えて、
Question 2 以降は 問題例+解答例 を載せます。

◆Question 1

Suppose you have a goal to achieve, but you do not know what you should do to achieve the goal. For example, even if you want to be a politician, you may not know what to do to achieve this goal. In such cases, who or what can help you? Write who or what, and after that, explain why you think so. You can use your experience or example to support your idea.

【問題文の和訳】
あなたには達成すべき目標があるのに、その目標を達成するために何をすべきか分からないとしましょう[考えてみましょう]。たとえば、たとえあなたが政治家になりたくても、この目標を達成するために何をしたらよいのか分からないかもしれません。そのような場合、誰または何があなたを助けてくれうるでしょうか？（以下略）

【Tips】
夢はあっても、それを実現するための具体的な行動が分からない…ということは起きうる。そんなとき、誰or何の力を借りればよいだろうかという問題。
いきなり書き始めずに、まずはプランから。例を挙げてみると：

◇その目標を達成した人に話を聞く
◇本を読む
◇インターネットで調べる

どれも魅力的だけど、１つに絞って書くときには、他の選択肢と対比させながら書くこともできる。

たとえば「本を読む」でいくなら、もちろん「本の良さ」をメインで書くべきなんだけど、それに加えて以下のような内容で補強することが可能：
◆目標を達成した人に話を聞くのも有益かもしれないが、その人自身の個人的な話が自分に合うとは限らない・そんな人が身近にいるとは限らない
◆インターネットで調べてもいいけど、不正確な情報もネット上には溢れているから、信頼度という点では本にかなわない

あとは、具体例を用いてよいということなので、それで自分の意見をサポートするのも効果的。

In my view, talking with people who have already achieved the same goal is the most effective. Based on their own experiences, they can give me clear advice. For example, if I want to be a teacher, I will talk with some of the teachers at school. They will tell me what they did when they were students, what skills I should acquire and so on. In this way, I can get reliable information and imagine what I will do in the near future. Of course, I can also get information online, but some of it can be inaccurate. (99 words)

「AかBか」みたいに選ぶのではなく、自分でアイデアを出してからそれを展開していく問題は、かなり難易度が高く感じられるはず。

本番はどんな お題が出るか分からないけど、色んなタイプのライティング問題に触れて、少しぐらい予想外の出題でも "ビビらずに" 立ち向かえるようにトレーニング頑張って！！

Question 2
Suppose you are asked to make a presentation on an ideal junior high school. What is your ideal junior high school like? Write one or two characteristics of the school, and explain your idea with some examples. You can include your own experiences.

Suppose you wish to be healthier and want to exercise regularly, but you cannot continue. In such cases, what can help you to make exercise a habit? Write your idea and explain why you think so.

◆Question 2-5 [解答例]

Question 2
One characteristic of my ideal junior high school is that it will not give students any homework. Some people might say homework is important for students to improve their knowledge. However, I think schools should let students decide what to study by themselves. In this way, students who like math, for example, can spend more time studying math, and will like studying more. Also, teachers must be less busy. Then, they can have more time to communicate with their students. When students have problems, these teachers can deal with them quickly. (91 words)

Question 3
It seems to me that sharing my plan with other people can be helpful. If I try to exercise daily and do not tell it to others, I will surely get bored and stop it soon. However, this will not happen if I share my goal and activity with my friends, family and so on. This is because I do not want to let them know I cannot do things that I have promised to do. For example, suppose I tell my friends that I will run for half an hour every day and share the results. Then, I will surely feel pressure and go running regularly. (107 words)

Question 4
I think my family can help me the most, because they know me better than anyone else. For example, when I was doing some research on several jobs for homework, my parents told me that I would be a good salesperson. They know I like to talk with people. They also know my weaknesses, such as being bad at focusing on one thing for a long time. They have known me since I was born, so their knowledge about me is the best. Therefore, I believe their advice will surely help me when I choose what to do in the future. (101 words)

Question 5
I think staying in a foreign country is the most effective way. Of course, it is possible to study a foreign language in Japan with books and YouTube videos. However, if I stay in another country, I will study the language more seriously. For example, to study French, flying to France is the best way. Then, I will have almost no one to talk to in Japanese, so the only way to survive will be to master French as soon as possible. This will not happen if I live in Japan, because I can live comfortably even if I do not speak any French. (104 words)
