Residents in Golborne hit by power cut

RESIDENTS in Golborne have lost electricity supplies due to a power cut this afternoon, Thursday.

Electricity North West are looking into the power cut, which originated in Golborne.

Homes have lost power due to the cut which is also affecting homes in neighbouring St Helens, in the Haydock and Newton-le-Willows areas.

Around 14,000 properties have been affected.
