The Suez Canal Authority said Sunday it had reached a settlement to return the container ship that blocked the canal earlier this year to its owners.

No details of the settlement between the canal and Shoei Kisen Kaisha Ltd., the Japanese owner of the Ever Given, were released but the vessel is expected to be “freed” Wednesday following a meeting between the two parties.
