Remarkable Match of This Week

A highly anticipated top-tier match took place. The home team, Fulham, scored first. Forward Raul Jimenez's free run was a masterful move that brilliantly left the opposing defender Jakub Kiwior behind. On the other hand, Arsenal scored from their specialty, a corner kick, with defender William Saliba reacting to a cross to find the net. Arsenal tried to attack mainly through their wingers, Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard. Midfielders Declan Rice and Martin Ødegaard also joined the attack from the second line. However, Arsenal only managed to score once from a corner kick. It's clear that Fulham has a really strong bench of substitute players as well.

Other Games

The main characters of this round were rain and storms. The Merseyside derby was postponed. The London derby between Spurs and Chelsea, which I was unsure whether to highlight, turned into a rough and exciting match partly due to the rain. Chelsea's left-back Marc Cucurella slipped and fell twice, both times leading directly to Spurs goals - a tragic turn of events.
However, Chelsea had this man: midfielder Cole Palmer. His performance was incredible, beyond what can be fully described here. His precise final passes, skillful dribbling touches, and ruthless penalty-taking were all at an amazing level for a football player.
Manchester United lost two league games in a row. New manager Ruben Amorim is excellent at analyzing his team's strengths but hasn't yet implemented solutions.
Leicester, also under a new manager Ruud van Nistelrooy, scored two goals in the last 10 minutes to secure a draw.
Bournemouth showed even more resilience. They were losing 1-0 until the 85th minute, then scored two quick goals to beat Ipswich. The winning goal came from a ball movement that bounced around like the letter W, making it impossible for the goalkeeper to respond. As for Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna's frustrated expression after the loss, it's understandable how he feels.

Tables

Chelsea, who faced criticism for their excessive player acquisitions before this season started, have finally awakened. Manager Enzo Maresca has begun to make his presence felt. Their attacking power is now impressive, and they've finally reached the top of the league in scoring ability. Many, not maybe only me, had hoped they would stay dormant for longer.

Manchester Derby!!

The Manchester Derby is approaching in this situation. It seems there might be a feeling that the result could end up being an unsatisfying draw. In November this year, before being recruited by Manchester United, Ruben Amorim's Sporting CP achieved a shocking 4-1 victory over Manchester City in the Champions League. Although it was just last month, one wonders if Amorim still has a positive image from that time.
