Busy Seeing Doctors （医者通いで忙しい）

I have been busy at work for the last 2 weeks. But whatever happens, it will end today, which is the last working day of the year. So, I can forget about the work and enjoy the 8-day holiday. But I will get busy with going to see the doctor from this week. I have to see 4 doctors by the end of January. It has started today. I went to see a dentist for my regular teeth check. I was lucky that my teeth had nothing wrong. But I have to see him early January again to have my upper teeth cleaned.
A week before that, I have to go to a hospital to see a doctor for my hip. And a week after that, I have to go to another hospital for another illness of mine. Moreover, I have to go to a clinic for my high blood pressure. It means that I have to go to the 4 different medical services in a month. In other words, I have to go to one of them every week in January. It is annoying and a bit hard to do this. Each time, I have to waste my time going back and forth between home and one of them.
I would really like to have some of my illnesses checked at a clinic close to my home. It would be much easier and more convenient to have my high blood pressure and epilepsy checked at the clinic. I am now under observation for the illnesses. So, I only go to see the doctors to have my medication prescribed.
I have been often said to have a primary care doctor. Now I really need such a doctor at a clinic close to my home.

　この2週間、仕事が忙しかったです。でも、何があろうと、それも今日で終わりです。今日が仕事納めです。なので、仕事のことは忘れて、8連休を楽しみます。でも、今週からは医者通いで忙しくなります。1月末までに4人のお医者さんにかからなければなりません。始まりは、今日からです。今日は、歯の定期検診に行きました。ラッキーなことに、どこも悪いところはありませんでした。でも、上の歯の掃除に、1月上旬にまた行かねばなりません。
　その1週間前には、股関節の診察のために病院に行かねばなりません。さらに1週間後には、別の病気で別の病院に行かねばなりません。そしてさらに、高血圧の件で、クリニックにも行かねばなりません。1カ月に4つの医療機関に行かねばならないのです。1月は毎週、病院通いです。毎回、家と医療機関を往復するのは、面倒だし、時間ももったいないです。
自宅近くのクリニックでいくつかの病気をまとめて診てもらいたいです。例えば、高血圧とてんかんについては、近くのクリニックで見てもらえれば、ずっと楽で便利です。この病気については、今、経過観察中なので、薬を処方してもらうためだけに行くのです。
　かかりつけ医を持てとよく言われます。今こそ、家の近所のクリニックに、かかりつけ医が必要です。
