An Islamic book in English
Recently, I have read several children's books in English on Islamic themes, so I would like to write my thoughts on them.

イスラムをテーマにした子供向けの洋書を最近何冊か読んだので、その感想を英語で書いていきます。
（日本語訳もあり）
The HIJAB Boutique
This book was about a girl who started getting interested in the hijab, triggered by a school assignment.
I didn't know there were various types of hijab styles, and that they have names.
Most non-Muslim people think that Muslim women cannot enjoy fashion because of the hijab, but actually, there are many different kinds of hijab, such as various colors, textures, and patterns.
You can definitely enjoy fashion by combining those hijabs with different outfits.

この本は、学校の課題をきっかけにヒジャブに興味を持ち始めた女の子の話です。
私はヒジャブには様々なスタイルがあり、それぞれに名前が付いているとは知りませんでした。
ほとんどの非イスラム教徒は、ムスリムの女性はヒジャブのせいでファッションを楽しめないと思っていると思います。
しかし実際には、ヒジャブには様々な色、質感、模様があり、それらのヒジャブと服を組み合わせることで、十分におしゃれを楽しむことができます。
A SCHOOL GIRL'S HERO
This book is about a girl who thinks about 'Who do I aspire to be like?' in order to participate in a school contest.
The person she decided on was someone that all Muslims know.
The more I learned about him, the more tears came to my eyes.

この本は、ある女の子が学校で開かれる「私は誰のようになりたいか？」という議題のコンテストに参加するにあたって、どのような人物になりたいか一生懸命に考える話です。
最終的に彼女が決めた人物は、ムスリムなら全員知っているあの方。
その人の人物像を知っていくと、不思議と涙が出てきます。
THE MEAT EATING VEGETARIAN
This book is about a Muslim girl who transferred to a new school.
She became friends with non-Muslim girls, and they got along well, but suddenly the non-Muslim girls started avoiding her.
The misunderstandings happened because the non-Muslim girls didn’t know much about Islam.
I think this happens in the real world too.
In the end, they were able to reconcile, and it made me tear up a little.

転校生であるムスリムの女の子がノンムスリムと友達になり、仲良く過ごしていたのにある日いきなり避けられるようになってしまう話。
ノンムスリムの子たちはイスラム教のことをよく知らないからこそ誤解が生まれてしまいました。
これは現実世界でもよく起こることだと思います。
最終的には和解することができ、ウルッときました😢

Those were my recent thoughts on these books.
I'll try to read more foreign books to get used to it.
