　しかし現実はそう甘くなかった。
　東京の音大に見事落ちて、滑り止めに受けた関西の大学に行くことになった私。
　負け惜しみではないが、受験の時からなんとなく関西の大学が居心地良かった。
　だからなのか分からないが、すぐに友達も出来てあの地獄の日々から脱出し、楽しい大学生活を送っていた。

そして、そこで運命のチェロという楽器に授業で出逢ってしまう。

But reality was not so sweet. I failed to get into the music college in Tokyo and ended up going to a university in Kansai that I had applied as a backup. It’s not sour grapes, but I felt comfortable at the university in Kansai from the time of the entrance exam. I don’t know if it was because of that, but I made friends quickly and escaped from those hellish days and had a fun college life. And there, I met the instrument of fate, the cello, in a class.
