こんにちは、BowGriP楽ゆ～びです。今回は、日本の美しい景色と歴史が息づく滋賀県長浜市を訪れました。長浜市は、羽柴秀吉が城持ち大名となった城下町で、その歴史的な魅力が今も色濃く残っています。江戸時代には北国街道の宿場として栄え、現在でもその町並みを活かした黒壁スクエアは、ガラス工芸を中心としたショップや工房が集まる人気のスポットです。

私が特に心を奪われたのは、長浜港から出航する竹生島への遊覧船です。湖上からの景観は息をのむ美しさで、水鳥が戯れる姿はまさに絵画のよう。日本の夕日百選にも選ばれた琵琶湖の夕景は、訪れる人々の心に深い印象を残します。

また、市街地の周辺には、小谷城跡や姉川の合戦跡など、戦国時代を駆け抜けた武将たちの足跡を辿ることができます。戦国ロマンを感じながら、歴史の深さに触れることができるのです。

滋賀県長浜市は、歴史と自然が織りなす美しい風景と、温かな人々の心に触れることができる場所です。この地を訪れたら、ぜひ黒壁スクエアでのショッピングや、竹生島へのクルーズをお楽しみください。長浜市の魅力を存分に味わうことができるでしょう。

BowGriP Rakuyuubi's travel report. Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture (fiction)

Hello, this is BowGriP Rakuyuubi. This time, I visited Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture, where Japan's beautiful scenery and history are alive. Nagahama City is a castle town where Hideyoshi Hashiba became a castle-owning feudal lord, and its historical charm remains strong even today. During the Edo period, it flourished as a post town on the Hokkoku Kaido road, and Kurokabe Square, which still makes use of its old townscape, is a popular spot where shops and workshops, mainly glass crafts, gather.

I was particularly captivated by the pleasure boat to Takeo Island that departs from Nagahama Port. The view from the lake is breathtakingly beautiful, and the sight of the waterfowl frolicking is just like a painting. The evening view of Lake Biwa, which has been selected as one of the 100 best sunsets in Japan, leaves a deep impression on the hearts of those who visit.

Additionally, in and around the city, you can follow in the footsteps of the warlords who ruled the Sengoku period, such as at the ruins of Odani Castle and the site of the Battle of Anegawa. You can experience the depth of history while feeling the romance of the Sengoku period.

Nagahama City in Shiga Prefecture is a place where you can experience the beautiful scenery woven by history and nature, and the warm hearts of the people. If you visit this area, be sure to enjoy shopping at Kurokabe Square and a cruise to Chikubushima Island. You will be able to fully experience the charm of Nagahama City.
