　レッスンは鬼のような厳しいもので何度も挫けそうになったけど、元来負けず嫌いの性格からか絶対先生の前では泣かないと心に決めた。
　でもレッスンの帰り道で我慢できず一人でポロポロ泣きながら帰ってたな。

The lessons were so hard that I almost gave up many times, but I decided in my heart that I would never cry in front of the teacher because of my competitive nature. But on the way home from the lesson, I couldn’t stand it and cried alone as I walked home.
