Behind in life?

I felt like that before I met a guy. I interviewed the guy and he shared his life. To me, his life looks so behind. So let’s see.

Me「Hello, sir. So, could you tell me your fantastic life?」

A guy「Sure. I’m 27. Until 25, I was a virgin. It’s just 2 years ago. People called me ‘’The virgin king’’. I have no friends even a girlfriend. In my life, I’ve had a girlfriend only once. After two months passed,She broke up with me and said ’’I can’t see the future with you. Goodbye’’.」

Me「Wow…」

A guy「I don’t have any high grades. When I was a student, I was so lazy at studying. Miraculously, I went to a uni which you can get through no exam. Of course, I didn’t study much at uni. What’s more I dropped out, when I was in my third year of uni and after that, I went abroad for 3 years. The jobs I've done are washing dishes, cooking some food, a bartender even though I don’t know much about alcohol and now I deliver food on UberEats. Lastly, I’m still living with my parent.」

Me「Wow! Your life is so fantastic! You're something! Anyway, thank you for coming today. I appreciate it.」

A guy「Thank you too sir.」

How's the interview with him? Fun? Anyway, you might feel behind in life and struggle with it. But like the guy, some people don’t care about feeling behind in their life and move forward. They create their future meaningful, fun and happily. And you know that there are so many people living in harsh situations because of war, poverty, and things like that. They have no control over their life. We are lucky. We have many opportunities to change our life. We can even help their harsh lives.

Anyway, whatever you do, time is ticking. It doesn’t wait for you. Not fair,isn't it? It’s okay to take a rest for a bit. I know if you get over your darkness, you’ll become much stronger and see the world more differently than you saw.
