Recently, I started teaching new intern about my job.
However it’s very difficult for me to train someone else because I must fully understand my work.
So it’s a challenging task for me. Actually I’ve never instructed anyone before.
I haven’t managed any junior staff.
That’s why I was careful when I explained him how to work at the front desk.
I work with him at the front desk today.
When I taught him, he didn’t note it.
I said him « You can note it! It’s OK »
But he said « I don’t need it. No problem. Thank you!! ».
And I asked him « Can you remember it? »
Finally, he noted it.
I think this conversation is waste.
But he works well.
Moreover he is always aware what I need.
It’s useful to work in Japan.
Most Japanese demand others to be aware what they need.
He asked me how to reply customer’s E-mail.
I advised him to answer it although I made mistake.
Because I didn’t read it well.
Quickly I apologized him and I corrected the replying mail.
It’s hard to train for me.
