皆さんこんにちは。お久しぶりのnote更新。今日は公式車検を一発クリアしたマンモスダンプレーサー「Futuredump2023」を簡単にご紹介します。
Hi everyone! Long time no blog update. Today, I would like to briefly introduce the Tamiya mammoth dump racer "Futuredump2023", which cleared Tamiya's official vehicle inspection in one shot.
車検レギュレーションに明確なボディ面積の記載は無いのが少し厄介なのですが、ダンプのボディ面積が小さいと車検不合格になる感じ。
昨年(2022)大阪大会は大丈夫だったのですが、2023スプリングで車検不合格となりました。
It is a little troublesome that there is no clear description of the cowl area in the vehicle inspection regulations, but if the dump cowls area are small, it feels like it will fail the vehicle inspection.
Last year (2022) the Osaka tournament was fine, but in the 2023 spring, it failed the vehicle inspection.
1.経緯 / Background

2023スプリング大阪大会当日。慌ててフロントグリルを取り付けて、写真の状態で車検に通りました。
昨年は合格したのですが今年は不合格に。残念ですがこの現実を受け入れなければいけません。ダンプの場合は荷台以外のボディパーツ、例えばフロントグリル(または運転室)などを取り付ける必要があるようです。そしてここから僕の試行錯誤が始まりました。
I passed last year but failed this year. Unfortunately, we have to accept this reality. In the case of a dump, it seems necessary to install body parts other than the cargo bed, such as cowl parts such as the front grill (or cockpit). And this is where my trial and error started.
2.試行錯誤 / Trial and error
2023スプリングの後、2023Japancupまでに公式車検を合格できるフューチャーダンプを完成させるべく様々なプロトタイプを作ってみました。
こちらのプロトタイプは公式車検をクリアした訳ではありませんが、車検対策のお目安になれば幸いです。ご参考までにどうぞ。
I made various prototypes to complete the "Future Dump" that can clear the official vehicle inspection by 2023 Japancup.
These prototypes have not cleared the official vehicle inspection, but we hope that it will be a guideline for vehicle inspection measures. Please refer to it.

モーターカバーにマンモスダンプのフロントグリルをビスで固定して挑んでみました。写真の状態で公式車検に合格しました💮💯
最後に僕から車検のアドバイスを一つ。
冒頭で述べた「ボディ面積の明確な記載がない」件ですが、言い換えるとボディ面積については視覚的な判断になると思います。例えば黒いMSシャーシに黒く塗装したマンモスダンプカウルを上記写真のように取り付けた場合などは、「ボディどこ？」と指摘される予感がプンプンします。ですのでフューチャーダンプのボディカラーは黒以外の分かり易いボディーカラーが無難ですね。ご参考になれば幸いです。
