1. Tell us about your background
・Born in Shinjuku
・Attended an elementary school in Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia
・Ochanomizu University Junior High School

・Keio University

2. Why did you join beBit?
I first learned about beBit through the Boston Career Forum website. Initially, I didn’t have a clear  idea of the type of job I wanted to pursue. Like many of my peers during the job-hunting process, I applied to trading companies, banks, and major manufacturers. However, none of these companies felt like the right fit for me, so I decided not to take a job immediately after graduation and spent an additional year job hunting. Through analyzing companies and going through interviews, I came to believe that beBit is a company that genuinely aims to do good for society, people, and myself, which led me to decide to join.

3. Please tell us about the work you do at beBit
I am a part of the Consulting Sales team, where my main responsibility is acquiring projects related to UXD (UX Design). My work involves accurately understanding the business challenges that our client companies are facing and proposing approaches to solve these challenges using UX as a means.

4. Tell us what you value most when working
Maintaining my personal condition is what I value most. This includes getting enough sleep, going for runs, fully refreshing on my days off, and socializing with others at gatherings. I prioritize my physical and mental health. By taking care of these aspects outside of work, I feel that I can approach my work with a positive attitude.

5. Tell us how members who (may) work with you should communicate with you
I would be happy if people feel free to speak with me. I’m open to personal conversations or even just small talk. I believe that by getting to know each other through these kinds of interactions, work will naturally progress more smoothly.

6. Tell us one thing you like about beBit
I appreciate the excellent balance in the relationships between employees. While there is mutual respect, you can also easily connect with those you want to become closer to, even outside of work. At the same time, there’s no pressure to socialize if you don’t want to, which allows for a comfortable level of distance. In my case, I especially like that I can go out for drinks or play golf with senior members, regardless of their position, and have meaningful communication with them.

7. What do you do during your free time?
In my free time, I play golf seriously. I go to the course at least once a week and practice at the driving range two or three times a week. When I’m not playing golf, I’m usually watching golf videos or thinking about golf.

8. If you could be reborn, what would you want to be?
I would choose to be reborn as myself again and redo the parts of my life that I regret so I could master life.

9. What makes you the happiest? Or, tell us about when you were happiest recently
I’m happiest when I’m playing golf. I’ve been playing golf since I was a child, and even recently, I’ve continued to improve, like when I set a new personal best score. This sense of ongoing improvement keeps me motivated. There are also many small moments of happiness in golf, like hitting a great shot, finding a ball you thought was out of bounds in the course, or sinking a long putt.

10. Tell us about any challenges you would like to attempt
I would like to obtain some sort of golf-related certification. I’m considering becoming a teaching professional or getting a turf management certification. It’s not so much about using the qualification for anything specific; I just think it would be interesting to have.
