1.Why did you join beBit?
I’ve been interested in counseling since my university days, and through my studies and volunteer work, I frequently realize the importance of “putting myself in the other person’s shoes.” While job hunting, I happened to come across beBit and was drawn to the company's methodologies, which emphasizes the user’s perspective. In the end, I was torn between joining a large manufacturer and beBit, but decided on beBit because the work seemed enjoyable, and because I resonated with the company’s philosophy.

2.Please tell us about the work you do at beBit
I primarily handle two types of work: ① Tasks as part of the 1st contact team, and ② tasks as a UXD sales representative.
① In the 1st contact team, I attend the initial meetings set up by the Inside Sales (IS) team, where I listen to the client’s current situation and challenges. My role is to then allocate these cases to the appropriate teams: UBS (UX & Business Strategy), UXD (UX Design), or UXG (UX Growth).
② For UXD sales work, I am responsible for the entire process from conducting additional hearings to making proposals and finalizing contracts to secure the deal. (Of course, there are instances where I handle cases that I allocated as the 1st contact team as well).

3.What do you find rewarding about your job?
I find my job rewarding when I can apply the lessons I learned from previous proposals, when the hypotheses I develop for proposal directions prove accurate, and when the proposals I create resonate with the client. In fact, given that I’m constantly learning something new every day, I could say that everything about my job is rewarding (except maybe when I’m buried in a mountain of paperwork, haha).

4.What is the most memorable or rewarding job you’ve done at beBit?
The most memorable experience for me was the final report meeting for the first project I brought in and saw through to delivery. Although I had often reviewed past delivery cases and final reports, reading the materials never gave me a full understanding of the underlying context, such as what the client initially thought of or expected from beBit.
However, for the project I was directly involved in, I had a clear understanding of the client’s concerns and expectations during the sales stage. This allowed me to view the delivery findings and improvement suggestions from the same perspective as the client, not just with a detached “Oh, that’s interesting” reaction, but with a genuine sense of excitement and connection. That experience remains deeply memorable to me.

5.Tell us one thing you like about beBit
What I like most about beBit is their commitment to being helpful to people in a broad sense. By “broad” I mean that while improving the user experience from the user’s perspective, beBit also ensures that the client companies achieve the result they seek, and at the same time, they provide growth opportunities for the employees working at beBit. I love that the company is designed so that not just the users of the client companies, but everyone involved can benefit and be happy.

6.What do you do during your free time?
In the summer, I often go to the beach in Tateyama to fish and snorkel. The water is clear, and you can catch a lot of fish, which got me hooked since my university days, and I’ve been going there every year since. Of course, I’ve been going a lot this year too. Besides that, I enjoy playing mahjong, and recently, I bought a gaming PC, so I’ve also been playing online games a lot.

7.What year is the most memorable year in your life?
The most memorable year in my life is my third year of high school. It was a tough year as I struggled with exam stress, but with the help of friends, I managed to get through it. I believe the lessons I learned from that experience will stay with me forever. It was also during this time that I developed an interest in counseling, and I think the decision to join beBit during my job search also stems from this year.

8.What makes you the happiest? Or, tell us about when you were happiest recently
Recently, I became hooked on going to sentos (public baths). After a long day, visiting a sento and then stopping by an old-fashioned ramen shop near my home on the way back has become my little happiness routine. The best moment is soaking in the bath while slowly reflecting on the day and letting my thoughts wander - it’s incredibly relaxing.

9.Tell us about your goals at beBit
My immediate goal is to be able to handle work independently. Additionally, to deepen my understanding of the products I'm selling, I’d like to experience the delivery side of the business at some point, once I’ve developed my sales skills sufficiently.

10.Tell us about any challenges you would like to attempt
Given my interest in counseling, I’d like to challenge myself in the field of psychology at some point in my life, possibly by attending graduate school to become a licensed clinical psychologist. That being said, for now, my focus is on mastering my current job, and I’m aiming to independently manage sales activities. I want to take on various projects and continue growing through these challenges.
