【行った国 （住んだ国）その１２） イラン・イスラム共和国 🇮🇷IRAN】冬場のタブリーズ、イランホテルのボルシチ、美味かったな〜〜。
この国は四十年前に私が最初に海外渡航した国です。当時は羽田空港からの出発でＳＡＳスカンジナビア航空の南周り、DC8便でした。確か当時はシベリア通過の北回り便は無く、南周りかアンカレジ経由でしか欧州に行けなかっ時代です。当時の南回り便のジェット機は飛行距離の制約から各駅停車フライトで（羽田➡︎マニラ🇵🇭➡︎香港🇭🇰➡︎バンコク🇹🇭➡︎デリー🇮🇳➡︎テヘラン🇮🇷）８０００ＫＭ先のテヘランまでたどり着きました。
この方と同じPANAM世界一周便に乗り合わせた事もありました。
エピソードその１
最初の頃は一年半以上のイラン🇮🇷連続長期滞在が続いて、日本に帰っても、もう浦島太郎状態で当時の知り合いはみんないなくなってました。今思うと4カ月に一度日本に帰れたカタールの仕事は最高の待遇でした。
本題ですが、どの年だったかは失念しましたが年越しをイラク🇮🇶の町が遥か下界に見えるノースウッドと言う国境の山岳地で経験しました。ホテルは無い町だったので日本から持ち込んだプレハブハウス（小屋）を町の入り口に設営して寝泊まりしてました。当時の職場は近くの高い山の山頂だったので毎日高度差２０００mの通勤でした。
エピソードその２
ゴルガンと言うカスピ海沿いの町で電話局の交換機（🇩🇪S社のクロスバー）初期稼働に遭遇しました。我々が担当した他所の町とトランクラインをS社交換機に接続した途端、まるで生き物の様に交換機機がバタバタと動きだした光景は今でも忘れられません。
この町ゴルガンでノースウッドでも一緒だったＫＴさんが自動車事故で亡くなりました。（合掌）

私は二十代のほとんどをこの国で過ごした事から、私を育ててくれたイラン大学を卒業したと今でも思っています。
テヘランのマンゼル（住処）から見たザグロス山脈の山々は今でも忘られません。

This country is the country that I first traveled abroad more than forty years ago. At that time it was DC8 flight south bound of SAS Scandinavian Airlines on departure from Haneda Airport. Surely at that time there was no northern flight but it was an flight where We could only go to Europe via Anchorage. The jet of the south flight flights at that time are restricted by the possible flight distance of airplanes (Haneda 🇯🇵➡︎Manila🇵🇭➡︎Hong Kong🇭🇰➡︎ Bangkok🇹🇭➡︎Delhi ︎🇮🇳➡︎Tehran イラン🇮🇷) Up to Tehran 8000 KM away from Tokyo then safely we arrived.
Episode Part 1
In the beginning of my Biz assignment , Its unbelievable long stay in Iran for more than a year and a half, even if I returned to Japan it was already Urashima Taro(unknowns guy) and all the acquaintances of those days were gone. I thought now that Qatar's my biz assignment that I could return once every 4 months was the best best working environment.
Back to main subject, I have forgotten which year it was, but I experienced be there the New Year day at mountainous land of a border northwood where Iraqi town looks far downward. Because there was no hotel, it was a small town so We set up a prefab house (hut) brought from Japan at the entrance of the town and stayed over the year . Since the workplace at that time was the summit of the high mountain nearby, it was commuting to 2000 meters altitude everyday.
Episode Part 2
I had a chance to see the initial operation of the exchange equipment in the central tel switching office ( its Siemens 🇩🇪crossbar trunk exchange ) in the Caspian sea-side town called Gorgan. As soon as we connect other towns by trunk lines that we were in charge with trunk lines establishment by NEC microwave system , the scenery where the exchanges started to flutter like a human living thing will be unforgettable.
KUNITOSHI San of SANKYU Electric who was together with me at Northwood was passed away in this town , in a car accident. (RIP)
I am still thinking that I graduated from the Iranian university who grown me because I spent most of my twenties in this country.
The view of the Zagros mountains seen from Tehran 's Manzell (our company house) are still not forgotten.
I will report Indonesia in next time because this to be in alphabetical order.
