藤井風「満ちてゆく」の英訳について
宮藤官九郎のドラマ「新宿野戦病院」で、小池栄子が岡山弁と英語を混ぜこぜに使っていた。その小池に突っ込みを入れたセリフにひどくハマってしまった。
英語と岡山弁まぜて喋っていい日本人は藤井風だけ
藤井風の岡山弁の歌詞も心に響くが、MCの優しくつぶやくような英語も心に響く。「満ちてゆく」の英語の歌詞を読んでみた。英語の歌詞の中にも、きれいな言葉やノスタルジーを誘う言葉をたくさん見つけることができた。
