Japanese Sweets?

【Day 559】
I have been quite busy this week so far. On the other hand, my wife took paid days off this week so she has been quite active.
She took our kids walking to Milsons Point this morning. However, it started to rain earlier than we thought. So she called me and asked me to pick them up by car at Luna Park.
It was lucky for them because I didn’t have any meetings at the moment.
I was so disappointed because I thought I would have practiced skateboarding after work in the evening. It’s pretty dangerous to skateboard when it rains because the ground becomes slippery.
But after all, I brought Natsumo's long skateboard and practiced only basic steps and tricks that didn’t require a radical shift of body weight.
Then I tried to practice surf skate tricks in the garage but it’s too narrow to do it. I hope it would be sunny and the ground would be dried.
By the way, it has been pretty easy during the school holidays because Natsumo has cooked dinner every evening.
She has a great talent for cooking. She cooks different types of meals from mine. So it would be great for us if she become one of the members who are in charge of cooking regularly.
Before dinner time, Mihaya wearing Yukata brought me some red tiny grain shaped like stars and told me "Would you like some Japanese sweets?"
She seemed to pretend to be a hostess of the Japanese hotel directed by Minori.
I believed that was real sweets like "Conpeitou" or something because my wife went shopping at Tokyo Mart.
So I picked up one of them with no doubt and put it into my mouth and that’s when I realized it was clay.
Luckily, I didn’t swallow it, but it tasted like hell...
