Costume For The Make-A-Wish Day

Next Wednesday, the elementary school is going to be hosting a fundraiser day to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation. On that day, all students and teachers are encouraged to dress up as what they wish for. So we went shopping to prepare for it.

Minori is going to be a carpenter since that’s her current dream when she is older.

Mihaya is going to be Totoro, I have no idea why she wants to be him.

First of all, we went to a home center and got a helmet, a toolbox, and a toolbag that is hung on the waist for Minori. Then we went to K-mart in Chatswood, we got a grey bath towel with a hood for making Totoro costume by ourselves, and a fluorescent yellow best like a real tradie for Minori.

Minori hesitated to wear a costume, but I think it’s a good opportunity for her to break through some walls and open her mind to her classmates.
