The Border Finally Opens

I thought I would go surfing this morning but I couldn’t because Mihaya had a slight fever.

She told that she had a dull pain in her legs so I thought the fever would get higher.

Then she absented school and went to the hospital to get tested. She is the person who got tested most in my family. I believe she’s negative.

In the arvo, PM Scott Morrison announced that the Japanese visas will be permitted from the 1st December. It means the national border of Australia will be opened again for the first time from March 2020.

Hearing the news, Natsumo got stoked because she has been wanting to go to Japan so badly for a long time.

As soon as came back home, my wife booked air tickets with JAL planned for the 1st January 2022. It cost about 1,000 dollars per person.

However, the restrictions of Japan are tougher than in Australia so that we would have to stay at home for 10 days after arriving in Japan.

Our travel period is 23 days but we can go around only for 10 days substantially.

I hope the restrictions in Japan get eased by then.
