【Day 84】
The FG didn't go down to the target, 1.014. It was around 1.015. But I couldn’t wait anymore. Now is the time for bottling, finally.
It couldn’t be easier. I set some equipment for bottling like this,
push the top of the equipment with the bottom of a bottle, then just fill the bottles.
When I fill bottles with beer, I need to make sure to make room by stopping to fill at about 2 cm from the end of the neck for the second fermentation in the bottle.
Then I put 2 drops of priming sugar in each bottle. The sugar is a sort of “meal” for yeast. Yeast eats sugar in the bottles, and turn it into alcohol and carbon dioxide.
The task was easy, but I thought it would take a little bit too long to complete 30 bottles. So I called my staff. I mean, my oldest and second daughters.
When I gave them some instructions, I didn’t know whether they would like the task or not. But the production line we made completely worked. They worked so well that it got much easier.
This is the real microbrewery that is run by the family.
The fermenter placed under the stair for 2 weeks was replaced by 30 bottles finally.
I don’t think I can wait for 2 more weeks.
