The couch and macarons

【Day 86】

After 4 weeks of patient waiting, we’ve got a dream couch finally. It’s great quality, very comfortable more than I thought. Additionally, 5 of us can sit down on it at the same time. $669 is really reasonable for it.

I don’t know why she’s wearing kimono at all...

Anyway, one more thing that makes us satisfied is the color is almost the same as we saw online and textile samples. It's turquoise blue reminds me of the ocean that is one of the reasons why I chose it. The couch makes our place more like “home“.

It’s timber legs are a little bit too high, so we’ve decided to not use them. That being said, there is no complaint about it at all.

In the evening, my wife and 3 daughters went to Carmen’s house to get a sort of lesson on how to make macarons. Her skill in making sweets is absolutely amazing. I’d say she could be a professional patissier.

A week ago, we had Carmen’s macarons and were so impressed that my oldest daughter decided to make macaron by herself.

But it turned out to be a completely different thing from macaron and she was really depressed about that. So my wife asked Carmen to do us a favor and she accepted it.

Carmen is not just a great patissier but also a great teacher. She taught my daughters so well that they made perfect macarons this time.

If the macarons were sold in some famous patisserie, I would pay for them without a doubt!
