【Day 616】
The weather forecast said it would be wet summer this year. I think that’s true because it kept raining through this week.
My wife and I went outside to have lunch. When we walked to the cafe near us, I saw a lot of petals of jacaranda spreading on the ground.
I heard that petals of jacaranda cause injuries of old persons every year. I think that’s so true because I slipped and almost fell when I walked on those petals that got wet by rain.
After all petals of jacaranda, the summer will come.
In the evening, all of us went to Chatswood for shopping because it was late night shopping Thursday and all shops run the Black Friday sale.
I stopped by BONDS, one of the most famous apparel brands in Australia, and found tees and shorts that were designed by Kentaro. I heard about the products from him when we hung out the last Friday.
Luckily, the shop ran a store-wide sale, so all items were sold with 40% off. So I took 2 types of tees and a pair of shorts.
I told the staff he was my friend when I make a payment at the shop counter. She said that was the best-selling range now and her boyfriend bought one of the tees as well.
I was glad to hear that.
Getting offered to collaborate with the Australian brand as a Japanese artist means that he is recognized as an artist who has the Aussie's soul. Becoming someone like him isn’t so easy.
I respect him again.
