【Day 551】
It’s the school holidays for two weeks. My wife and I were really happy when term 3 ended because the online home learning was a sort of torture for parents.
It was pretty difficult to work from home with kids who were doing online learning during term 3.
Before the school holidays began, my wife planned to have my kids do chores, especially making meals during the holidays. Minori is in charge of making lunch and Natsumo and Mihaya are in charge of making dinner every day.
I was wondering if they would do that as planned, but it’s going pretty well so far.
As they have worked so hard that we have been able to focus on our job. That’s really helpful.
Especially Natsumo's work is outstanding. She made Japanese Takikomi cooked rice yesterday, and she made Subuta sweet and sour pork for today.
Not just making meals, but also she manages Mihaya to support cooking as an assistant surprisingly well. I’m really glad to see it.
And top of that, her dishes taste great.
