Please tell us about your career so far
After graduating from university I worked for 4 years as an English teacher at a high school. After that I moved to Singapore to pursue a new career and it has been one year since then. I used to be a civil servant as a teacher and instead of being in a protected environment I wanted to try working in the private sector and so made up my mind to switch careers. I wanted to cause as little disruption to my students as possible so I started preparing for my
job change and ensured that it would sync with when my students would graduate.
My current job is at a company managing resorts in Singapore. I'm in charge of investor relations planning for the Japanese market. I was hired to open up the Japanese market. I spent time with the different investor relations departments within the firm learning the ropes and now focus on investor relations for the Japanese market.
