When did you first go overseas?

My first overseas trip was a family trip to Hawaii when I was 5.Ｉ don't remember much as I was young then. I only vaguely remember losing my spade at the beach. Apart from when I moved to Singapore I didn't have any other overseas experience.

When I first moved to Singapore I would hesitate even to go to the supermarket. The staff at the supermarkets were bilingual and I felt that if I couldn't communicate properly in English it would be quite embarrassing.
