昨日、町内会の溝掃除の日であった。
例によって活躍するのは夫。しかも夫は、隣のおうちの溝まで掃除しておいたらしい。お隣は一人暮らしの老婦人でその日は不在にしていた。

夕方帰ってきたお隣さんは、溝が綺麗になっていることにびっくりし、お礼を言いに来てくれた。本当に助かったって。

そういえば、夫は献身的。
人が見ていようと、見ていまいと、ひっそりと行動し、決してひけらかすことをしない。こういうところは立派で本当に尊敬する。見習わないといけないなあ。
