According to the official website, the "EVANGELION CROSSING EXPO - Evangelion Grand Exhibition" is returning to the Roppongi Museum in Tokyo from September 13 (Friday) to October 22 (Tuesday), 2024, marking its long-awaited comeback after two years. The exhibition will feature over 4,000 items, both new and classic, showcasing the series' charm through a combination of "objects" and "events."

Key Highlights of the Tokyo Return:

POINT 1: For the first time at the expo, a life-sized figure of "Ayunami Rei (provisional name)" will be on display, alongside four new exhibits. Major highlights of the exhibition will be showcased in Roppongi!

After touring nationwide, this event will finally arrive in Roppongi, featuring a diverse range of items from figures, apparel, traditional crafts, games, motorsports, and exclusive regional projects to collaborations with other characters and brands. This Tokyo leg will include impressive new displays not seen at the Shibuya venue.

The life-sized "Ayunami Rei (provisional name)" figure is based on illustrations created for the "Evangelion Exhibition" held at Matsuya Ginza in August 2013. This is the first time a life-sized figure will be displayed in Tokyo since the "Evangelion Exhibition" 11 years ago.

Additionally, the exhibition will feature a 3.5-meter tall, 100-kilogram spear of Longinus, a giant Eva Unit-01, and the Progressive Knife, renowned for its dramatic scenes of piercing the Angel’s core.

POINT 2: Exclusive to the Roppongi venue, a special collaboration with "Amand Roppongi" has been announced. The "Roppongi Amand Ring Cookies," a popular product from Amand, will be available only at the Roppongi location. The cookies feature a vivid pink package with a Rei Ayanami design and are specially developed for the expo with a blue ramune-flavored chocolate and red raspberry powder.

There will also be a collaboration with the iconic "Roppongi Logo," which will be featured on a limited-edition acrylic keychain available only with pre-sale tickets. This keychain combines an illustration of Evangelion Mark.06 with the Roppongi Logo and is sold in a set with pre-sale tickets.
