A Navigation System for Large Figures
It seems that we have heavy snow on the side of the Japan Sea. I have ever lived in the Hokuriku area, so I know that snow is troublesome for the Japan Sea side area well However, I still like snow. The snowfall night is so quiet and romantic. I used to see the snowfall turning off the room light.
Speaking of snow, Hokkaido is the most snowfall area in Japan. In this season, many people go to Hokkaido, especially Sapporo which is the center of Hokkaido. They go to Sapporo to see the famous Snow Festival. In the Snow Festival, we can see many statues made of snow. I've never been there, but I definitely go to Sapporo to see the Snow Festival someday.
By the way, I knew the Snow Art which is made by people. Frankly speaking, Snow Art is the walking trace of people. People or a person walk in the snow and leave footprints on the snow. As you can see the wonderful Snow Art in the following video.
I like Snow Art. But I wonder how they draw the Snow Art. Snow Art is quite a large figure. So, how can we draw it well? I can't understand even when I watch this video. At least, he doesn't use any IT systems to draw his Snow Art. This Snow Art reminded me of the idea of drawing large art on foot. I've ever written about the large art of light painting. I was going to challenge the Guinness World Record to draw the largest light painting before.
At that time, I thought of an IT system that could navigate me to draw a large figure like the Nazca Lines. In fact, some people think of how to draw large figures like Nazca Lines.
But I want a navigation system to draw them. In my mind, I can imagine the system clearly. It's a simple system. First, we input the picture of the large figure that we want to draw on foot. Then, it shows the direction to proceed. The system always detects the direction and measures the distance. It's quite a simple system but it analyzes the input figure and finds the simplest how to draw it from the input like the Oylaer path. So we can draw large pictures on foot at the minimum time.
