Art Competition in the Olympics

The other day, a parade was held in my town. It's the parade of Paris Olympic medalists who come from my town. In other words, it was a triumphal return of Olympic medalists. It reminds me of my proposal for a modern art competition in the Olympics.
First of all, a few people know about art competitions in the Olympics now. But there were art competitions in the modern Olympics. There were five categories of art competitions; architecture, literature, music, painting, and sculpture. As you can imagine,  the evaluation of them seemed to be hard. If you're interested in art competitions in the Olympics, you can read the following web page. It describes it in detail.

Nowadays, everyone knows there are no art competitions in the Olympics. But I want to revive them. Exactly speaking, it's not reviving. I want to set up a new category as an art competition in the Olympics. It's the illumination competition. In the competition, the player operates illuminations called moving heads or lights used in the stages of music concerts. The player competes in the stage production using moving lights. You can see many moving lights on the following website.

Maybe you have a question about the illumination competitions that I propose. How do we evaluate the competition? In my opinion, the competition of illumination consists of two parts. One is a basic program, and the other is a free program. The former is the competition to draw some figures using moving lights, and the latter is the one to draw a picture freely using moving lights. In other words, the former is the competition for basic skills of operating moving lights, and the latter is the one for compositional skills of basic ones. Both of them use music, so the players draw pictures of lights depending on the music. They perform it on the stage, so their performances are stage productions using moving lights, too. The simple image is the following.

This is just a demo video. It's not good. The room was our laboratory and the moving light was only one. But if we use many moving lights at the same time, the operation becomes harder.
I proposed this art competition of illumination at an academic symposium several years ago. I really want to realize it as an art competition and I want to participate in the future Olympics as a player of the art competition. It's one of my ambitions.
