Year-end cleaning and IT
I did year-end cleaning today. It's a little bit early than every year. I will go abroad this week to present my work. So I don't have enough time to clean my house at the end of this year. That is why I did year-end cleaning today. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish it completely, though.
By the way, I'm good at cleaning relatively. So I don't feel so bad about cleaning my house. But most people don't like cleaning. For such people, cleaning robots like "Roomba" have been developed, I think. I'm not interested in cleaning robots so much. I don't have much knowledge about "Roomba". But this time, I searched for "Roomba" on the Internet. As a result, I found there are so many cleaning robots that are sold now. For example, if you search for "cleaning robots" on Amazon, you can see so many "cleaning robots" as follows.
I was so surprised to see so many cleaning robots. But more surprisingly, it seems that drones are also used to clean the windows of skyscrapers. I think that it is a good idea to use drones for safety. Anyway, IT contributes to various fields of the human environment.
As the next step, I want to expect a humanoid-typed robot for cleaning. The reason why I think so is the limitation of "Roomba" type cleaning robots. They can only wipe the floors. They can't even move things away. I was curious and looked into it. I found it! You can see the video on YouTube.
Um… It seems that it takes a long time until it can replace humans, right?
