Bunt practice 1 hour daily
Every day, there seems a team to practice bunt an hour a day. In addition, there are teams that considerably emphasize mobility and spend considerable time on running base practice. Besides this, there are many teams which consider the detailed practice considerably more than things to throw or hit, which is the basis.
It would be fine if each player wanted and wanted to do it, but how is it going?
By doing detailed exercises, the basic level of throwing and hitting will be sacrificed. No matter how good of bunt skill is, player cannot be a pro.
Players will end without being able to appeal to professional scouts. Instead of bunt, player may have hit a home run if coach let the player practice more hitting.
Of course, because player hit a home run, he/she cannot go to a professional, and to win team need a bunt and a detailed strategy.
However, I think whether it is excessive.
Again, for the coaches, I want you to think for the players, not the coaches’ egos. Every single day, each play occupies the importance to the players for the future. I want it can be stamped into coaches’ soul that the future fate of the players will be decided by every single day, each play.
