My opinion
I agree with that The Japanese government should do more protect the environment in terms of natural resources and pollution.
I have two reasons to support my opinion. First, Japan is one of the largest importers of natural resources. In other words,they are worsening the environment in resources producing countries. Therefore,the Japanese government must improve environmental issues in resource-rich countries. In addition,Japan experienced rapid economic growth from the 1960s to the1970s,but at the same time,pollution became a social problem. But Japan has overcome them. For example, Tokyo Bay was called a sea of sludge and was a model of pollution. Now however,fish have returned to the bay,and they are valued as sashimi and sushi.
By sharing these experiences with developing countries,Japan should be able to save pollution problems overseas. For these reasons,I am sure that The Japanese government need to do more protect the environment.
